September-November 2011

I can’t believe I haven’t posted since the beginning of September! Crazy. Well, here are some photos from our autumn adventures. There are pictures of  the day my dad went paragliding and the kids watching dad in a triathlon from their stroller. Then photos of when Josh’s parents, our brother-in-law, Brent, and our nephew Renen came out for General Conference. We had lots of fun with them–crafts/activities with Grandma, Hill...

June 2010

June was quite the month. Here are some highlights, in chronological order. We (Magdalena, James, and I) went to Thanksgiving Point’s Farm Country with some friends from the neighborhood. In May when we went, Magdalena was afraid to ride a pony. But this time, she was excited to do it. This is her first time riding on an animal . Magdalena absolutely loves to dance. And she sings so much. She will often sing to herself for 30 minutes in her bed...

Recent Happenings

This month the aquarium got a new exhibit–penguins! We went on the opening night and Magdalena loved it. James had his first non-sponge bath on 3/28. There were a lot of tears early on, but once he got used to it he seemed to enjoy it. I had a hard time narrowing down which photos to post so here are a bunch. The 28th was also James’s first time going to Church so there is a picture in his white shirt right before Church. Today was...

Lake Powell Triathlon

We had a great time on our trip to Page, AZ and Lake Powell for Josh’s Olympic distance triathlon on October 17th. The night before when we arrived in Page we went straight to the Lake. Magdalena absolutely loved it–she loved seeing the water, all the boats, and the dogs on the boats. As we were driving up, and non stop while we were there she was chattering about it. She’s never talked so much all at once. She was saying...

Draper Days Rodeo

Draper Days Rodeo

Believe it or not, I nor Brynn nor even Magdalena have ever been to a rodeo. But since I became a member of the Draper Community Foundation which sponsors a bunch of celebratory events in Draper each year known as Draper Days (my company built the Draper Days website, by the way), we’ve finally rectified the situation. The rodeo started out with Mutton Bustin’, which is where they tied a helpless 3-5 year old kid who got talked into...

2009 4th of July

It’s hard to believe that we’re repeating events. It seems like just yesterday we were at the 4th of July parade with Magdalena, and here we are again. We went down to the Provo parade, which seems to be a family tradition now, and we have a nice spot that Brynn’s Aunt Callie saved for us. We finally invested in some of those folding/camping chairs. They were only $10/apiece at Wal-Mart and man, it’s a lot better than sitting on the ground or...
